Langley Music Lessons

Resound School of Music has been delivering quality music instruction to your door in Langley since 2009. We believe in making music lessons fit your busy lifestyle. Whether you are a career-oriented professional who wants to play guitar, a busy homeschool mom providing musical opportunities for her kids, or anything in-between, you most likely spend more time in the car than you’d like. Let us do the driving for you. You’ll save time and money (and, perhaps, your sanity) by having your lessons at home, and it’s the perfect learning environment as well.

What We Teach

Our school offers in-home music lessons for piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, and voice. We teach students starting at ages 5 and up, and also offer classes to adults of all ages and skill levels. Drawing from a diverse range of backgrounds and musical styles, our instructors also offer instruction in just about any genre of music. So whether you’re sticking with classical piano repertoire, or want to learn your favourite rock guitar song, we’re confident we can get you on the path to success.

What Sets Our Instructors Apart

All our music teachers are vetted based on experience, education, and – most importantly – their ability to teach, not just play great music.  Additionally, we use a proprietary student-teacher matching process to ensure that all students are taught by teachers that are apecifically selected for the them based on their past experience, musical interests, personality, and learning style.

All of our teachers have a post-secondary education in music and are trained as teachers, not just musicians. In addition, we’ve screened our teachers for any criminal history before sending them your way so that you can feel safe with the instructor we’ve assigned to you.

Our Langley office is located on 201 Street, just off the Highway 1 exit at 200 Street. Our instructors serve the entire Langley Township, including the neighbourhoods of Willowbrook, Willoughby, Brookswood, Murrayville, Walnut Grove, and Fort Langley.

First of all I am a music fan. I got into music because I love it and creating music is a great way to express your feelings and how you see the world. Music is and will always be fun to me. My background is from taking private lessons, self exploration, recording, writing, and playing live. I like to teach in a way that taps into ones “sound” and helps the student create music that they enjoy.

Voice, Piano

My strongest belief as a teacher is that music making is fun, and every lesson should bring both the teacher and the student joy. I love seeing my students grow and change as musicians, and have developed a teaching style that is based on their curiosity. We discover music theory and history as we study the repertoire, and we sing and play any music that the student finds interesting and wishes to study.
