Music Lessons in Surrey and White Rock

Since 2009 Resound School of Music has been serving the Surrey & White Rock area with in-home private music lessons. Our school’s mission is to help students from all walks of life to discover a lifelong love of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced musician, we’re confident we have the right teacher for your needs.

What We Teach

We specialize in lessons for piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, and voice. Lessons are available for students ages 5 and up. We also teach adults of all ages and skill levels. With a combined total of over 100 years of teaching experience, our team of music teachers can teach just about any music style imaginable, including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, R&B, Folk, Metal, and Blues.

What Sets Our Instructors Apart

At Resound School of Music, we hire only the finest teachers. Our instructors are carefully selected based on their education, experience, and their passion for teaching music. Less than 5% of candidates who apply are considered for an interview, and all new hires are subject to a criminal record check conducted by the RCMP. The one thing also that sets Resound School apart from other music schools is that we will work to assign you the best teacher from our roster once we’ve gotten to know you and assessed your interests and needs. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your instructor at any time, we will gladly work with you and your schedule to assign another teacher at no additional cost.

Piano

I love teaching! I believe every student has musical potential and it is up to me to show them how to use it. One of my favourite parts of being a Piano Instructor is getting to know my students. It makes the lessons more engaging and allows me to personalize each education plan. My students receive a solid musical foundation, great work habits and an intuitive sense of musicality. I often say that I don’t just teach my students how to play the piano, more importantly, I teach them how to make music.
