Customer Testimonials
“Resound’s system included a very well crafted intake interview. It was an enjoyable experience, which led to us being paired with an amazing guitar instructor. Our child is autistic and the teacher is patient and a real joy to watch interact with her. We are thrilled.”
– Debra Halbig
“It’s a pleasure watching my daughter learn to play piano. The teacher comes to our home each week, is so playful and encouraging, and my child is already learning to play some tunes. I’m so glad I found Resound School of Music!”

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you teach?
We teach both children and adults, ages 5 and up.
How often are music lessons scheduled?
Music lessons are scheduled once per week at the same day and time, except on stat holidays and during Winter Break. To view our full list of holidays, visit our school calendar here.
How do you choose your teachers?
We pride ourselves on having excellent teachers. All our instructors are vetted based on their experience, education, and most importantly, their ability to teach. Lastly, before teaching, we require all our teachers to pass an RCMP criminal record check.
Do you offer an in-studio option for lessons?
Because we are a mobile music school, we do not offer an in-studio option for music lessons. We make it easy and convenient for you by bringing the music lessons to your home, office, or studio.
How much do music lessons cost?
Pricing for music lessons varies based on lesson length. All our tuition rates can be found on our pricing page here.
Will I have to purchase my own instrument?
Students will be required to have their own instrument for their music lessons. If you would like any advice in purchasing your first piano, guitar, violin, or other musical instrument, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a free consultation.
Do you host music recitals for students to perform?
Yes! We host 2 free music recitals each year; one winter and one summer concert. Every Resound student is welcome to participate, and they are a great opportunity for students to gain experience performing in front of a live audience. For more information about our recitals, click here.
