Asma Akrami
I began playing the piano at the age of 10 and have since developed a lifelong passion for exploring a wide range of musical styles and genres.
I hold a Diploma in Music and am currently studying Fine Arts at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where I continue to expand my knowledge in visual arts, music technology, and world music. Exploring different musical traditions and learning about music production has broadened my perspective on music and continues to shape my growth as an artist and educator.
I enjoy helping students discover the same joy, creativity, and connection that I have experienced through music.
My goal is to make music lessons fun, engaging, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong technique, musical expression, and confidence. I believe every student can grow and succeed through patience, dedication, and a supportive learning environment. I encourage students to discover the emotion, story, and expression behind each piece.
With a deep appreciation for both music and art, I strive to inspire students to express themselves creatively while building confidence and developing a meaningful connection with music.
