Emily Erhart

Piano Teacher

I have been playing the piano since I was nine years old and have experience in both contemporary piano as well as the royal conservatory. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree double-majoring in Anthropology and Music. My music program specialized in theory and history; I am passionate about both and my students can expect me to throw in “fun facts” throughout our lessons together.

Outside of teaching, I am a songwriter and performer. I also enjoy singing, and playing the guitar and saxophone. I hope to teach in a way that is both engaging and fun, to help students grow in their own musical journey. Students in my class will not only learn how to play the material but also interact with it on a deeper level.
