From a young age, he was fascinated by the electric guitar and the playing of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Beck, Page, and Roy Buchanon. Throughout high school and post secondary, he played, studied and wrote as a part of several bands in a variety of genres. He was exposed to jazz guitarists including Julian Lage, George Benson, Charlie Christian, as well as the unique sonic voices of Jonny Greenwood and Nels Cline.
Jake currently writes for and tours with the four-piece Alberta based group, “The Den“. He also teaches lessons, and contributes to sessions as a guitarist and producer. More than anything, Jake is a proponent that there is always something more to learn![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row 0=””][vc_column 0=””][rs_space lg_device=”50″ md_device=”” sm_device=”” xs_device=””][rs_divider 0=””][rs_space lg_device=”50″ md_device=”” sm_device=”” xs_device=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row 0=””][vc_column 0=””][vc_column_text]
