Jennifer Liu
Jennifer Liu is a passionate teacher and lifelong learner in the performing arts. She began her musical journey with piano at the age of four and holds an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). A classically trained pianist, she previously taught piano lessons and music theory at the Richmond Music School, supporting students pursuing both the RCM piano syllabus and their own personal musical interests.
Jennifer brings broad experience in teaching, having taught music and dance to students of all ages, from early childhood to adults. Her teaching style is inspired by coaching principles, focusing on empowerment, collaboration, and curiosity. She is invested in understanding each student’s learning style, experimenting with different learning techniques, and helping them define and progress toward their goals.
Whether the intent is self-expression, learning a lifelong skill, or simply having fun, Jennifer is committed to helping each student find their own relationship with music and make it their own.
