Michelle Joly is a Musician, Private Music Instructor, Singer- Songwriter, and Recording Artist. She has a Music Diploma Majoring in Music Merchandising from Red Deer College and a Music Diploma in Vocal Jazz Performance from Grant McEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta. Michelle has been teaching guitar, piano and voice for over a decade and her passion lies in helping others pursue their musical endeavours and watching them succeed!
In June 2011, “You’re Not Alone” was released, Michelle’s debut album. Since then she has toured Canada twice, releasing three original albums also working on several other projects. She is currently working on her fourth album release for June 2017. Having performed in festivals such as Canadian Music Week in Toronto and Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver, Michelle has shared the stage with acts like Whitehorse, The Sheepdogs, and The Odds.
Throughout her years in the Music Industry, Michelle has won awards and scholarships. It is her greatest desire to heal the world bringing awareness for self empowerment and personal success through her music.
