Sara Onishchuk

Piano, Guitar, & Violin Teacher
Calgary

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be joining Resound School of Music as a new teacher! I’ve been teaching independently for the past 5–6 years. I’m originally from Eastern Europe, raised in Canada, and moved to Calgary last year — I absolutely love it here.

Piano has been a huge part of my life, and over the years I’ve competed in many performances and received various prizes and awards. I love helping students prepare for performances and competitions while keeping lessons fun, supportive, and personalized.

I primarily teach piano at all levels, as well as beginner violin and guitar. I’m happy to work with students of any age, and I especially enjoy teaching teenagers. I’m very social, outgoing, and people-oriented, and I love creating a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.
