My musical journey began at the age of 11 when I first picked up the drums, and over the years it evolved into a passion for guitar. I’ve been playing guitar for over 8 years, with a specialty in country, folk, blues, and fingerstyle playing. I also enjoy rock, classic rock, heavy metal, and play the harmonica, do a bit of songwriting and singing as well.
I especially enjoy sharing music with other people, whether that’s playing around a campfire with friends and family, or sitting down for a casual jam session. I’m largely self-taught, and I believe that being a student of music is a life-long journey.
During lessons I believe students should feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and exploring what kind of musician they want to become. This should be fun, rewarding, and something they look forward to, not a chore.
When music is something you genuinely enjoy, it becomes a part of who you are for life.
